Candidate data
You may browse without an account. We may process short-lived security data, consented analytics, page views, and application-link clicks. A click is not recorded as an application or hire. When you continue to an employer website, that employer’s privacy notice applies.
Job alerts
A job alert stores the normalized email address and saved search criteria in dedicated alert records that are separate from employer accounts, candidate reports, and application-link activity. We use the address only to verify the request and send matching verified roles. Alert emails describe the saved criteria and include a one-click unsubscribe link.
Unverified requests expire after 24 hours. Verified alerts expire after 180 days. Unsubscribed alert records are removed after 30 days, and delivery records are deleted with the alert. Repeated requests are limited per address, and public responses do not reveal whether an address already has an alert.
Employer data
We process account identity, work-email verification, company membership, listing content, moderation history, payment references, and audit records to operate the service, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Payments
Dodo Payments processes billing information, addresses, tax identifiers, and payment methods as merchant of record. Upfront Tech Jobs stores necessary customer, checkout, invoice, receipt, and transaction references, not full card details.
Retention and rights
Retention periods for authentication, payments, analytics, moderation, and audit records are documented before launch. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing.
Security
We minimize personal data, avoid storing raw IP addresses for analytics, store the verification token only as a hash, and keep the unsubscribe token encrypted with a separate lookup hash. We redact sensitive log fields and restrict administrative access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
